Intermittents du spectacle
If you are entitled to AFDAS benefits (2 years’ seniority, 48 days in France, as evidenced by Congés Spectacles and payslips), you should submit a request to your AFDAS delegation, in accordance with the procedure below.
Procedure
1. As soon as your application is accepted by the Royaumont Foundation, you must make sure that you are entitled to receive a grant from your AFDAS delegation, and then inform the Foundation of the answer.
2. The Royaumont Foundation sends you an estimate, a description of the training course and the page of the AFDAS application form relating to the training organization.
3. You complete the AFDAS application form and gather the documents requested by AFDAS.
4. You send in your application for funding no later than 4 weeks before the first day of the course.
5. You and the Royaumont Foundation receive the answer from AFDAS.
> If you are eligible for reimbursement, you will only have to pay €250 incl. VAT.
OPERA OFF member
If you are a member of the Opéra OFF association
Procedure
1. As soon as your application has been accepted by the Royaumont Foundation, make sure you are a member of OPERA OFF, then inform the Foundation of your decision.
2. The Royaumont Foundation sends OPERA OFF an estimate and a description of the training course.
3. OPERA OFF returns to the Royaumont Foundation to validate the amount of OPERA OFF’s funding.

Employees
If you are an employee (full-time or part-time), contact your employer to discuss the possibility of covering the cost of your training.

Job seekers
If you are unemployed, contact your France Travail advisor to discuss the possibility of covering the cost of your training.

Royaumont Foundation grant
Once you have submitted all your unsuccessful applications (on presentation of proof: screenshot, rejection e-mail, etc.), the Royaumont Foundation will set up a committee to award the grants, after you have submitted a specific file.

In all cases, the trainee/beneficiary must pay by bank transfer before the first day of training, and must provide proof of payment from his/her bank on request. Bank charges from abroad will be the responsibility of the student, unless expressly agreed otherwise between the Foundation and the student.
Summary
If you are covered by a health insurance plan, you will have to pay :
- La participation financière demandée qui s’élèvera à :
- 250 € incl. VAT: registration fee (i.e. €216 excl. VAT)
- 45 € (TVA non applicable – article 293 B du CGI)
- 20 € membership of the Association des amis de Royaumont, i.e. 7€ after tax deduction (66% of your membership is deductible from your income tax, up to a limit of 20% of taxable income)
- 25 € membership to Bibliothèques Royaumont (Bibliothèque musicale François-Lang and Bibliothèque La Grange-Fleuret). These memberships cover a full fiscal year.
- Les frais annexes :
- Your travel expenses (home – Viarmes station – home)
- Purchase and printing of scores and other specific supplies
The Royaumont Foundation takes care of :
- Subsistence costs (meals and accommodation in single or twin rooms) and full teaching costs (instructors, instruments, etc.) for the duration of the course (except in special cases).
- Transfer costs between Viarmes station and the abbey (one outward transfer and one return transfer grouped with the other trainees).
