Depending on the show, two types of seating are available: numbered seating or free seating.

  • Numbered seating
In the case of numbered seating, the seat management module allows you to choose your seats. As ticket reservations are made in real time, the computer server informs you of the availability of tickets at the moment you place your order.
No subsequent claim can be made if the seating is not suitable.
Please note that numbered seating is guaranteed until the start time of the show shown on your ticket.
  • Free seating
With free seating, no number is assigned when you place your order, so each spectator can sit as he or she wishes, within the limits of the seats still available on arrival, and in compliance with the instructions of the reception staff responsible for optimizing seating in the auditorium.

Out of respect for the artists and the audience, access doors are closed at the start of the concert. After the time indicated on the ticket, seating is taken care of by the reception staff.

Latecomers lose their numbered seats. They may enter the concert either during a break or at intermission, whenever conditions allow.

The Royaumont Foundation reserves the right not to accept latecomers when conditions do not permit.
The Royaumont Foundation reserves the right to use audiovisual recordings of all its events, which may result in a change in the buyer’s placement.
    • The Royaumont Foundation informs the public at the time of recording for external broadcast (television, internet) or of the recording of images of the performance in progress for artistic reasons (e.g.: image of the audience projected on a screen on stage), via the notice board at the entrance to the auditorium.
    • The presence of audiovisual recording devices in the performance hall does not alter the service provided by the Festival. This cause may not be invoked as a reason for cancelling tickets, and does not entitle the holder to compensation or a reduction in the price of tickets.

Article 7: Checking tickets
Tickets for admission products for visits and events are checked at the event venue.
Admission tickets (whatever their medium: thermal or digital tickets, printed or not) are checked by barcode or QR-code readers on entry to the event for which they are valid.

  • Proof of reduced fares must be produced at the time of inspection.
  • 5 minutes before the time indicated on the admission ticket, numbered seats are no longer guaranteed, and unpaid admission tickets are put back on sale.
  • Late arrivals do not entitle you to enter the hall, and cannot give rise to any reimbursement or compensation of any kind whatsoever.
  • Any departure from the performance venue during the show is final.
  • Access is only possible on presentation of a valid admission ticket and in compliance with current sanitary standards.

Article 8 – Withdrawal, refund and cancellation

  • Right of withdrawal – show and visit
Pursuant to Article L. 121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, the purchaser may not exercise his right of withdrawal in respect of leisure services that must be provided on a specific date or at a specific time. No reimbursement will therefore be made for these services.
All orders are therefore firm and final.
  • Refund conditions – show
Once purchased, a show ticket cannot be taken back, exchanged or refunded, even in the event of loss or theft, change of program or distribution beyond the control of the Royaumont Foundation (law of June 27, 1919), whether or not it has been used, except in the event of cancellation (see below).
  • Specific case of show cancellations
In the event of cancellation of an event, the Royaumont Foundation will give priority to rescheduling it to another session of the same event or to another event, depending on the calendar and the number of places still available.

If postponement is not possible, reimbursement is only possible in favor of the ticket purchaser whose name appears on the ticket and against return of the ticket (except e-ticket or m-ticket).

The amount reimbursed is that of the ticket and administration costs. No additional costs (transport, parking, hotel, etc.) may be reimbursed or compensated.

Refund requests will be accepted up to the date set by the Royaumont Foundation, depending on the product. Any request that does not meet these conditions will be rejected.
  • Cancellation of table, brunch or hotel products

The Royaumont Foundation authorizes a postponement of the date within 12 months of the initial date, but will not issue refunds for the Table or Experience products.
The parties will be exonerated from all liability in the event of total or partial non-performance of the reservation contract resulting from a case of force majeure as defined by article 1218 paragraph 1 of the French Civil Code.

  • Valentine’s Day product cancellation

Due to the limited number of places available, reservations will only be effective once payment has been received.
Cancellations made before February 4 will result in a refund of your reservation.
Cancellations made between February 4 and February 7 inclusive will result in a refund of 50% of your reservation.
Cancellations made after February 8 will not be reimbursed.
